PHOTOGRAPHER JD FERGUSON_edited.jpg

"JD Ferguson "fell" into the world of photography. A former model of nearly 15 years, he began covering the backstage antics of fashion weeks from around the globe for V and VMAN Magazines. Eventually working his way to the top for The New York Times. As a model Ferguson worked internationally appearing in advertisements, catalogs, campaigns and television spots worldwide.

JD stopped working full-time as a model in 2002 after being named Project Manager for Visionaire publishing in New York City. Eventually "in-house photographer" was added to the list and his career in photography began. During his time at Visionaire he worked as videographer for celebrity photographer and photographer to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld. In 2007 he was one of the first in the industry to start a blog which he shuddered in 2010.

JD stopped working in the fashion industry in 2014 and now resides in his hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. JD's work is represented by Trunk Archive in New York City.
